Legal Counsel
Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid) • AML & Compliance • Permanent - Full time
  • What you will do:
    • drafting and negotiating agreements (with clients and partners) required to support Nikulipe’s business and operational activity with third parties and on an intragroup basis;
    • contributing to the design and implementation of offered services/products and expansion activities;
    • advising on regulations applicable to payments products/services offered in multiple jurisdictions including PSD2, open banking and e-money regulations;
    • preparing corporate documentation and implement activities in relation to legal corporate decisions;
    • assisting with most complex clients’ requests as well as contributing to client/partner due diligence process;
    • managing data protection and privacy activities for the company;
    • preparing policies, procedures, other internal regulations, and participating in the provision of relevant internal training and awareness programs.
  • What we expect:
    • 4+ years of experience in a law firm or as in-house counsel, preferably in financial institution;
    • Master’s degree in Law;
    • Good understanding of commercial law and a proven ability to provide and coordinate legal guidance across a wide range of legal issues in various jurisdictions;
    • Experience in drafting and negotiating complex agreements;
    • Experience in corporate legal activities;
    • Proven experience in data protection and privacy law;
    • Strong logical thinking, analytical skills, and business-mindedness;
    • Keen interest in technology & innovation;
    • Fluent in verbal and written English;
    • Being a good team player but also able to work independently;
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment;
    • Experience working in a diverse and international environment;
    • A willingness to learn new things.

    The salary for this position starting from 3000 € (gross) per month. The salary varies on the level of your experience.
